ART & SCIENCE ACTIVITY

Hello! My name is ALWAYS LIVE and I’m from Venus. I am an angiosperm, eucariotic and pluricelular plant .My colours are dark and light. One day, when I was in my planet, a plane came there. A man pulled me out of the ground and took me to his planet. He planted me in his garden and took care of me. Everything was different there, and the climate was different, too and that made me die. But a miracle saved me and now I live in the man’s world very comfortable.”

“This plant is from Venus. Its name is SPECIAL PLANT. It’s a special plant because it has spotted and stripped leaves and its roots are yellow. It’s a gimnosperm plant. It only grows up in the North. In Spring has all the colours of the rainbow”.

"This is a new plant for this planet, it’s from Surikadi. The planet is between the Sun and Mercury. There are a lot of plants llike that in “Surik”(is like the people call it). In Surik don’t live any people but there is only a house in the middle of the planet is where all the plants live. There aren’t any beaches.

The name of this plant is SUCKLY it’s an angiosperm plant from a very strange tree; it hasn´t got any flower”.

"My plant is called SPRING FANTASY. It is a plant from Venus(the planet of love). It’s composed by seven leaves: one of them is very big, it’s in the middle; two in the endpoints. There are two equal leaves placed on the right and on the left side of the big leaf. This leaf is the most important because it controls all the chemical process in the flower, and it’s where pollination takes place. The small bits are the seeds, they are multicoloured and very beautiful.

When all things are well, the main leaf has two colours but when something is wrong, this leaf loses one colour. It ‘s easy to take care of this plant.

The large orange leaves do the photosynthesis and the white leaves of the endpoints protect the plant as if it was the sepals of a normal plant.

It changes its colours according to the seasons: in Summer it turns to red colour; in Spring has all the colours of this season; in Autumn it turns to brown and in Winter it turns to dark grey.

Out of the flowers, flying around, there are some special creatures that are like fairies, birds and globins that take care of the flowers.

It’s a marvelous plant, and you can study it by seeing how take place the reactions. I LOVE MY PLANT, and I love its colours, too”.

"One day in Venus appeared a plant from a seed called Scarecrow. Two days later, leaves started to grow because the plant was well feeded. More leaves grew and flowers buds appeared.

The plant’s food is made by the leaves through a process called photosynthesis. The sunlight gives energy to make the food. The food is made of water, soil and air.

The plant is composed by bud, root, seed, flower and stem. The root grows down into the soil. In the flower occurs the reproduction. The stem is the part that transports the water up”.

“This is the COLOURING TREE. It leaves in the Rainbow. It’s an angiosperm plant and it doesn`t do the photosynthesis. It has four leaves of different colours: red, yellow, blue and green. It has a big leaf in the superior part of the stem and it has two different colours: green and blue”.

By Guillermo Naranjo González 1º A ESO.

"My plant’s name is RAINBOW TREE. It only born when appears a rainbow because it needs spectral colours to grow and live. It is an angiosperm plant and its fruit is a gold cube. The flowers of this plant change the colours at second, and the bees that absorb its polen grains, transform it in a jewel.

When a plant die, makes a rainbow and a new plant born. The new plant can be special (with silver leaves); normal (with blue and green leaves) or very special, (with golden leaves).

The most beautiful detail about the Rainbow Tree is that when you are sad, the plant throws colours to the sky and make you feel happy.

All the leaves that I used in this work are angiosperms (except the laurel and eucalyptus leaves that are gymnosperms).”

"My plant is like a BIRD’S TAIL. It’s a gymnosperm plant. It has perennial leaves. Its seed isn’t inside the fruit. It lives in the Sky planet. It does the photosynthesis. It has orange, green and pink leaves. It belongs to a multicolored planet”.

"Hi! I’m CHICOLP PLANT. I’m from Mars. I’m angiosperm,
pluricellular, eucariotic and autotrophy plant. I live in wet places. My leaves are colored and different.

One day, a man visited my planet and took me to the Earth. It was Spring and the weather was perfect. I like a lot my new planet”:

By Andrea Lorenzo García.1ºA ESO

“My plant’s name is RED PINE TREE. It lives in wet places. It drinks a lof of water. It has flowers when the leaves fall. It is angiosperm. It lives in my planet. My planet’s name is Aqualandia Flower”.

By Ylenia Navarro Santana 1º A

“ One day I went to a ignored planet, its name is Lymfea. When I was there, I looked around and I saw a plant. The plant’s name is DOUBLE FORM because it can have many different forms. I took the plant to the Earth but the plant died there. So I took the died plant to Lymfea again and it survived!

When I visit Lymfea, I look at the plants and I can see the Double Form is changing: the colours of the leaves are different and it lives on rocks. Finally, I leaved the plant and Lymfea planet and went back to the Earth alone”.
